DevOps Engineer

Hi there! We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure that keeps Edverise running smoothly. Edverise helps businesses find and compare verified technology vendors using verified reviews, delivery history and transparent rankings instead of ad spend. Businesses rely on us when choosing technology partners, so a reliable, secure platform is a big part of earning their trust, and you will be the person who makes that happen.

About the team

You will work with every engineer on the team, from frontend developers to AI engineers, helping them ship safely and confidently. We prefer automation over manual steps, clear runbooks over tribal knowledge, and calm, blame-free reviews when something goes wrong.

What you will work on

• Manage and improve our AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines so developers can deploy with confidence.
• Run containerised services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up monitoring, alerting and logging with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strengthen security with good access controls, secrets management and regular updates.
• Keep cloud costs in check and support the infrastructure our AI features need.

What we are looking for

• 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps, SRE or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience writing Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines, for example with GitHub Actions.
• Solid Linux and networking basics, including Nginx and DNS.
• A calm, methodical approach to incidents and a habit of writing things down.

What success looks like

In your first 3 months, you know our infrastructure inside out, you have automated at least one manual process, and alerts reach the right people at the right time.

By 6 months, you have made deployments faster and safer, improved uptime and monitoring, and given the team a clear picture of cloud costs.

How we work

This is a full-time role based at our office on the 11th floor of O-Hub in Infocity, Bhubaneswar. We will walk you through working hours and the team's weekly routine during the interview process.

Day to day you will use GitHub Actions, AWS, Terraform and Grafana. We keep things simple: clear goals, honest feedback, and plenty of room to ask questions and learn. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
