Paid listings and profile upgrades that give companies enhanced presentation and features;
Sponsorships and advertising placements shown on directory and content pages;
Verification and badge services; and
Lead and matching services that connect buyers with companies, where offered.
Labelling of paid placements
Advertising and sponsored placements are identified with a clear label such as “Sponsored,” “Ad,” or “Featured.” Sponsored companies may appear in dedicated positions but are distinguished from merit-based rankings.
Advertising does not influence rankings or reviews
Paying for advertising, sponsorship, a badge or any other service does not improve a company’s merit-based ranking, does not generate or alter reviews, and does not affect the outcome of our research. Our Editorial Policy governs how independent rankings and reviews are produced.
Third-party and affiliate relationships
We may use third-party advertising and analytics partners and, where applicable, may participate in affiliate arrangements.
