Editorial Policy

Our rankings, lists, ratings and research are based on merit and evidence — not on payment. Purchasing advertising, sponsorship, a badge, or any paid service does not buy a higher merit-based ranking or a favourable review, and does not influence our editorial judgement. Commercial and editorial functions are kept separate.

Company rankings and “top” lists are produced using a defined methodology that may consider factors such as verified client reviews (their quality, recency and relevance), demonstrated ability to deliver, market presence, portfolio and experience, and the completeness and verification of the profile. We aim to make the methodology transparent and to apply it consistently. Sponsored placements, where shown, are clearly labelled and are separate from merit-based rankings — see our Advertising Disclosure.

We take steps to confirm that reviews come from real clients with genuine experience — which may include verifying the reviewer’s identity, employment or relationship to the project through business email, professional profiles, or direct confirmation. We may edit reviews only for clarity, readability, formatting, or to remove confidential or prohibited content, without changing their substance. Reviews that fail verification or violate our guidelines may be withheld or removed.

Reviews of one’s own company, or of direct competitors, and any review procured through prohibited incentives or compensation, are not allowed. We investigate suspected manipulation and may remove content and penalise accounts involved.

We correct verified factual errors promptly. Companies may respond publicly to reviews and may dispute a review they believe is fake or violates our guidelines; we will review such reports fairly and may request supporting information. Decisions on verification and removal rest with Edverise and are made in good faith.
