What shipping services companies handle

Parcel shipping providers and multi-carrier platforms aggregate rates from national carriers and regional couriers, let you compare services, print labels from your store or order system, schedule pickups, and track every package in one place. Many add shipping insurance, address validation, returns labels and cross-border documents with duties calculated at checkout.

Freight shipping companies book less-than-truckload and full truckload moves, air cargo and ocean containers, prepare bills of lading and commercial invoices, and coordinate with customs brokers. Some own warehouses and fleets; others are non-asset brokers that contract carriers.
