Story North was founded with a deep commitment to Northeastern Minnesota, a region regarded as a vital economic and cultural hub. The founders chose to raise their families and dedicate their craft here to help local institutions prosper for future generations. Co-founders Annie Harala and Kevin Jacobsen, along with creative producer Lexi Hausmann, bring diverse backgrounds in civic leadership, award-winning storytelling, and documentary production. Story North specializes in crafting authentic narratives that address complex challenges, focusing on impactful, long-term solutions rather than event recaps. They prioritize trust, respect, and genuine human connection to ensure their work strengthens communities. Although based in Duluth, they serve organizations beyond Minnesota, guided by strategic partnerships that align with their core values.
