OUR STORY
Hoekstra Transportation, LLC, situated just south of Chicago, is a respected regional carrier with deep roots in the Hoekstra family’s legacy of delivering produce. Since the deregulation of the trucking industry, the company has expanded significantly by embracing diversification and serving demanding just-in-time customers. They operate a fleet of conventional tractors, staffed by some of the safest drivers in the field, and leverage advanced technology for real-time shipment tracking. Serving a 500-mile radius around Chicago, their high trailer-to-tractor ratio sustains efficient transport over average hauls of 200-300 miles. Guided by core values of safety, family, integrity, and teamwork, Hoekstra strives to be the preferred carrier in the Midwest, recognized through numerous awards honoring their excellence in safety, service, and innovation.
