OUR STORY
Matt Erman transitioned from a 9-5 graphic artist job to entrepreneurship in 2012, leveraging his college background in photo and video to establish Capture 1 Studios by January 2013. Initially focusing on video production and photography, the studio quickly attracted major clients, prompting early expansion plans. In 2014, the studio upgraded equipment and software, launched advertising initiatives, and diversified services to include film duplication, transfer, and web design. Rapid growth continued through 2015 and 2016, leading to extended hours, upgraded computers, and Matt resigning from his prior job to dedicate himself fully. Evolving into narrative filmmaking, Capture 1 Studios has earned festival recognition and awards, notably producing 'The Legend of Holcomb Road' with significant local acclaim.
