**REQUIREMENTS OF CONN3CT** One client of Conn3ct, a prominent global entity in the PetroChem industry, required a worldwide "Follow-the-Sun" contact center solution. This solution needed to manage the existing contact center setup, which supports over 1,000 agents. Additionally, the solution was required to archive voice recordings to fulfill training and regulatory compliance needs. The client also specified that the solution should operate in the cloud to accommodate the anticipated growth of the business. **THE ZSAH SOLUTION** Through zsah's consultative approach to solution development, a global "Hybrid Cloud" solution was created. This solution addressed the needs of the client's selected contact center vendor while allowing for growth in a secure and adaptable environment. The "Private" component utilized zsah's Gridz-1 platform from data centers in the UK, US, and Singapore, while the "Public" component was hosted in AWS data centers. The design ensured redundant connections between all locations, eliminating a single point of failure. zsah also formulated a comprehensive disaster recovery plan in alignment with the design. **RESULTS AND BENEFITS** The zsah solution met all of the client's requirements and successfully fulfilled the "Follow-the-Sun" needs, allowing contact center agents from various regions to efficiently handle customer interactions. To facilitate this deployment, zsah established a dedicated support team. Each member of the team had gained an in-depth understanding of the solution design through their involvement in development, combined with the business insights acquired from regular interactions. This expertise enabled the zsah team to act as a "virtual extension" of Conn3ct's support system. zsah continues to provide Conn3ct with extensive support for this system, as well as assistance to many other corporate clients.

Additionally, zsah supplied technology experts to guide MSD's technical team on implementing new technologies and provided extra resources as needed to assist MSD in developing new applications. PLANNING INSPECTORATE'S REQUIREMENTS In reviewing how their IT needs were met, The Planning Inspectorate chose to outsource the development environment platform for all system and application development and testing to an external provider using a "Platform as a Service" (PaaS) model. After a competitive bidding process through the Government’s G-Cloud procurement platform, zsah was selected as the service provider based on an assessment of the proposal's quality and the cost. ZSAH'S SOLUTION After winning the contract, zsah collaborated with The Planning Inspectorate to create a plan for implementing the new service as well as migrating existing systems and software assets from their internal network. The solution included 21 servers, along with necessary firewalls, security and antivirus software, and managed support from zsah’s in-house support team located in the UK. The platform is hosted in the Telehouse datacentre in London, one of the largest, well-connected, and secure data centers in the UK, using rack space and servers entirely owned by zsah. The system boasts an uptime of over 99.999%, available 24/7, with all servers being monitored by the zsah support team. ADVANTAGES The migration to zsah was completed on schedule and within budget, satisfying all client expectations. Since implementation, the service has outperformed all agreed service levels. The Planning Inspectorate has gained access to a platform built on modern technology, with comprehensive monitoring and support from zsah’s dedicated support team. This has led to improved system availability and performance, reduced support and management costs, enabling The Planning Inspectorate’s IT staff to focus on their development projects.
