Alrafidain Group proudly represents one of the leading business conglomerates in Iraq, covering a wide range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, retail, real estate, entertainment, tourism, and construction, leaving a significant impact across each sector. Creating a new visual identity was a challenge that deepened my understanding of Iraq's rich history, especially during the ancient Mesopotamian era. I aimed to find a symbol that would connect with my cultural heritage. Many historical elements sparked my creativity, but the extraordinary Sumerian civilization from six thousand years ago captivated me the most. I incorporated various inspiring components from this historical source that now define the Alrafidain Group's identity. Water, regarded as the source of life in Mesopotamia, serves as a significant motif. Palm trees, which have long been a part of Iraq's landscape, symbolize both the nation’s history and its resilience and prosperity. Furthermore, I included the star of Ishtar, representing the Sumerians' remarkable discoveries pertaining to planets and stars, evoking a sense of curiosity and exploration. These elements collectively shape Alrafidain Group's identity, honoring the past while looking forward to a successful future.
