In some instances, this written message can be visually enhanced, which is precisely what a global infant care brand sought when they requested our assistance in creating a benefit visualization (BV) for one of their products. To accomplish this, we partnered with our strategic business collaborator, NorthCoast Productions, merging concept writing with video animation to create an impactful benefit visualization. If an image can convey a thousand words, then an animated product demonstration can express a million. Although not everyone may be acquainted with the term benefit visualization, they are familiar with its presence in TV commercials. For instance, demonstrating how much liquid a paper towel can absorb or illustrating the smoothness a conditioner provides to hair are both instances of BVs. Whether live-action or animated, a short clip showing a product in use is often the clearest way to illustrate to consumers why they should consider purchasing it. This is where NorthCoast Productions plays a crucial role. Writing by Design collaborates with like-minded partners like NorthCoast to provide our clients with a variety of effective communication options. In the case of the benefit visualization, our skilled concept writers crafted the vision and script for the short animation, while NorthCoast produced cutting-edge animation to realize it. The outcome of this seamless collaboration was a compelling animation that effectively communicated our client’s product benefits to viewers.
