Petals required a fast, visually appealing, and adaptable website that minimized overhead, was easy to manage, and facilitated a simple purchasing process for intricate products. They needed to transfer tens of thousands of customers, orders, products, categories, and pages while ensuring seamless integration with the existing order management system. **Solution Interface:** The goal was to create an engaging customer experience featuring targeted, eye-catching promotional images throughout the catalog. **Configurable Products:** Complex and customizable products would be displayed in a user-friendly manner, allowing for quick purchases from promotional images or detailed customization of product configurations and bundles. **OMS API:** A tailored API integration tool for BC/MOM was created to transmit order and customer data from the website to Petal's order system, as well as to relay shipping and order status back to the site. **Freight Management:** Utilizing BC's integration with ShipperHQ enabled products to be classified as freight items, which influenced product presentation, shipping details, delivery options, cart displays, and the checkout process automatically. **Migration API:** Custom data import tools were developed to fill the new website with the extensive orders, customers, products, categories, and pages. Innovative methods for product bundling and merchandising were preserved. **Client Feedback:** "For over a decade, Whirlwind has overseen our B2C and B2B online properties. They have handled every aspect of our online presence, from initial concepts to design, development, and support. They executed multiple redesigns and rebuilds, integrated our catalog order management system, facilitated vendor connections, and provided custom functions that have helped us stay competitive in our industry. I have yet to present them with a challenge that they couldn't solve—they consistently surpass our expectations." - Chris C, OfficeScapesDirect LLC

Downeast Cider sought a modern, relevant custom design that aligned with their branding strategy. They also required a smooth shipping, local pickup, and delivery solution that adhered to alcohol regulations. **Solution** - **Cutting-edge Design:** A fresh and unique custom design that resonates with the target audience and generates excitement while remaining consistent with branding. - **Multichannel Fulfillment:** A hassle-free shipping, local pickup, and delivery system that offers customers the flexibility they want, while ensuring Downeast's necessary controls are in place to minimize friction and enhance conversion rates. - **Alcohol Compliance Integration:** A direct integration with VinoShipper that simplifies the user experience by utilizing a single catalog and cart, minimizing client confusion compared to the usual split catalog/cart approach typical of fulfillment services. - **Shopify POS:** Integration with point of sale systems to facilitate merchandise and alcohol orders from client locations and during pop-up merchandising events. A unified catalog and fulfillment system serves both online and offline clients. **Client Feedback:** "Whirlwind has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with. They are thorough, communicative, and highly skilled. They provided trustworthy guidance through several significant challenges on both the front end and back end. Their assistance was crucial in transforming our broad vision into a tangible reality. I am thankful to have had them lead our project and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone." - Nick S.
