Are you considering a trip to Croatia or simply seeking some general information but don't know where to begin? Croatia.hr is the official tourism website for Croatia, providing you with everything you need to kickstart your journey. It features a comprehensive database of destinations across the country, offering details about each location. The website serves as a resource for anyone looking to learn about Croatia, aiming to facilitate easy access to information for users. Additionally, its primary purpose is to assist travelers in discovering places they would like to visit and experiences they want to have while in Croatia. During the design phase, we prioritized ensuring accessibility across various devices through responsive web design. A key objective was to upgrade the site from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. After approximately 400 working days, the website is now live. We are proud to have created a valuable tourism resource for everyone. To connect with Croatia, visit www.croatia.hr.

Village Invest

Unknown

We are pleased to have contributed to the development of the Village Invest website, which aims to foster a sustainable economic future in some of the world's most impoverished regions. Village Invest is an innovative organization that merges peer-to-peer lending with microfinance, focusing on direct connections between lenders and the communities they support, rather than relying on traditional intermediaries. The goal of the website was to design a tailored loan management platform that efficiently tracks investments and interest. Prioritizing low transaction costs and a responsive design was crucial for the website's success. OUTCOME: The site went live in June 2017 after extensive development. We are proud of our achievement in creating a user-friendly microfinance platform and encourage you to explore it at www.villageinvest.com.

The Croatian National Tourist Board is a national organization dedicated to establishing and promoting the identity and reputation of Croatian tourism. Its functions include planning and executing a unified strategy, designing promotional initiatives for both domestic and international markets that benefit all tourism industry stakeholders, and enhancing the overall Croatian tourism offering. In light of this, a decision was made to migrate their existing business website, initially built with proprietary content management software from the early 2000s, to Drupal. Websolutions Agency collaborated with the board to transfer all content to Drupal 8. A key challenge encountered after the discovery phase was the tight 30-day deadline set for launching a beta version. Drupal was selected due to its adaptability to changing requirements, its open-source nature that reduces licensing costs, support from a large community, robust performance capable of handling high traffic, ease of integration with external systems, and its reputation as a reliable solution. The primary objectives for the project included: migrating all existing content from the proprietary CMS to Drupal, restructuring the content, enhancing the information architecture, improving user experience and design, refining responsive and mobile-first design, and completing the beta version within the 30-day timeframe.
