Cookson Adventures

Why? Henry Cookson Adventures sought to set themselves apart with a brand refresh and a new website. Their goal was to shift from being perceived as “that English company in the UK” to establishing themselves as “a global luxury brand for explorers.” How? We focused on showcasing Cookson’s strengths—delivering unique, unforgettable experiences that redefine adventure and luxury. Our strategy emphasized simplicity, adopting a ‘less is more’ philosophy across all aspects, including copy, design, user experience, and photography, resulting in a clear, clean, and elegant brand identity. Logo – We created a refined and sophisticated logo using the brand’s initials, where the contrast between thin strokes conveys elegance while the serifs provide a sense of trust and tradition. Website design – The design is polished, straightforward, and thought-provoking. Utilizing compelling imagery, a minimalist layout, and emotive language, we aimed to build a website that is inspiring, functional, and user-friendly. Tone of voice – Our approach was simple, confident, and uplifting, allowing the copy to become more emotional and making the brand feel more approachable without sacrificing credibility. Result: Our brand refresh successfully positioned Cookson Adventures distinctly within the luxury travel market. This new global perspective has set the foundation for future expansion into new areas, services, and offerings. Cookson Adventures now boasts a brand that genuinely reflects their values, alongside a website that efficiently integrates CMS and ECRM to prioritize leads, boost ROI, and enhance the business's commercial viability.

Maiiro: Pack of Lies

Maiiro

Maiiro, a new sustainable skincare brand, approached Kitty and ROAST to create a global launch campaign. Faced with the challenge of standing out in the competitive skincare market, we introduced the ‘Pack of Lies’ campaign, addressing the concerns of ethical consumers. We developed an engaging microsite to effectively position Maiiro as more than just a skincare brand. Collaborating with ROAST’s Content Marketing team, we aimed for a campaign that not only raised brand awareness but also sparked interest and engagement among consumers, which was crucial for the company's visibility. The ‘Pack of Lies’ campaign focused on educating the public about greenwashing in the industry, establishing Maiiro as a leader in the fight against plastic packaging. The microsite featured information about the issue, Maiiro’s brand values, and ways consumers can contribute to addressing the problem. We ensured the design was striking and impactful while maintaining a high-quality user experience for easy navigation. The launch of the microsite generated significant online buzz around Maiiro and its stance on plastic pollution, driving traffic to its eCommerce site and achieving 25 pieces of online editorial coverage. With an audience reach of over 27.9 million, the conversation around the brand launch increased, solidifying Maiiro’s position as an industry disruptor. The campaign not only proved to be a major success for the client but was also shortlisted for the 2020 European Content Awards.
