Driving leads across multiple countries for AWS

Amazon Web Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS), the leading global provider of cloud computing services, approached us with a challenge: develop a robust marketing strategy to generate leads for their training partners in several key markets. We capitalized on an existing initiative called "AWS Discovery Days," which were one-day virtual events designed to give participants a thorough understanding of the AWS Cloud, along with insights into its security and compliance options. Our objective was to boost attendance at these events by attracting business professionals and IT leaders from Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia. To achieve this, we collaborated with AWS's Authorized Training Partners (ATPs) to launch campaigns aimed at generating leads and raising awareness about the benefits of AWS training. We utilized social media to highlight the ATPs’ technical skills and enhance event registration numbers. Additionally, we sent timely text messages and email reminders to maximize attendance and minimize no-shows. These campaigns demonstrated how participating in the free Discovery Day events could expose employees to the value of AWS training before they transitioned to paid courses. Participants who completed the training were issued AWS training certificates. When the pandemic struck in 2020, we assisted AWS in shifting their events from in-person gatherings to engaging webinars. By providing timely reminders ahead of the events, we surpassed our attendance goals. Following the events, the training partners continued to support these attendees, guiding them towards paid AWS training, ultimately leading to official AWS certifications that help ensure customers are succeeding in their cloud initiatives.

InstantScripts - Healthcare Marketing

InstantScripts

During the pandemic, InstantScripts capitalized on its ability to provide valuable healthcare services over the phone, such as prescriptions, doctor consultations, and pathology tests. The Walk Agency was engaged to boost sales and explored various platforms to achieve this goal, ultimately identifying paid social media advertising as a particularly viable option. Through precise targeting, The Walk ensured that the messaging reached the appropriate audience, making it relevant to their specific needs. Initially, they adopted a broad strategy focusing on both men’s and women’s health, but later refined their communications for specific demographics. For instance, younger women received information about contraception, while middle-aged men saw ads related to hair loss. With fresh, relevant creative solutions featuring clear and simple designs, The Walk effectively conveyed InstantScripts’ value in just a few words and images. Recognizing the distinct advantages of various social media platforms, each campaign was customized not only for individual users but also according to the platform being used. For example, Facebook ads adopted a caring and informative tone, while Instagram employed a more playful, meme-inspired style.

Engineering Rylock’s digital marketing

Rylock

Rylock, a leading entity in the window and door sector, sought assistance from The Walk to enhance their digital marketing outcomes. Our objective was to assess and improve their current efforts by developing a cohesive digital marketing strategy that would support ongoing growth. We aimed to shift their sporadic marketing initiatives into a series of thoughtfully planned, budget-conscious, and strategically implemented campaigns that would empower their internal team and foster long-term success. With a small internal marketing team, Rylock was facing challenges in achieving their desired results from digital marketing efforts. They approached The Walk wishing to elevate their digital marketing approach, recognizing the potential for improvement but needing guidance to research and identify opportunities and implement a strategic plan that would enhance their performance. The aim was to equip their team with a strategy that would enable them to execute daily operations more efficiently while also relying on the agency for specialized knowledge or scalability for specific projects. To quickly gain insights into Rylock's landscape, we initiated a Discovery Workshop, a streamlined process designed to uncover vital business insights and marketing obstacles. This groundwork allowed us to create a strategic plan, beginning with targeted research to identify audience preferences, effective channels, and pertinent topics and keywords. We then established clear, location-specific goals and objectives aligned with their business ambitions. This strategic focus enabled us to effectively leverage various channels, address audience needs at different stages of the buying process, and enhance overall efficiency within the established budget.
