OUR STORY
VillageFive is a YouTube channel dedicated to uncovering catastrophic disasters overlooked by history. Each week, it presents meticulously researched documentaries that delve into events often omitted from textbooks—ranging from devastating earthquakes and massive explosions to deadly floods. By exploring detailed accounts and buried research without resorting to clickbait or speculation, VillageFive sheds light on tragedies such as the 1871 Peshtigo Fire and the 1975 Banqiao Dam collapse, highlighting their significance and the lessons they offer. The channel's mission is to preserve these forgotten stories to help prevent repeating past mistakes. Viewers can expect comprehensive, thoughtfully scripted long-form documentaries and insightful short stories covering natural disasters, industrial accidents, and concealed calamities.
