Velvet

Founded in 2004 by Aivo Kallas, Markko Karu, Janno Siimar, and Mart Lankots, Velvet is a dedicated design agency comprising around 40 creative professionals, including designers, producers, developers, and researchers. Known as Estonia's first design-only creative agency, Velvet challenges traditional notions by valuing clarity, simplicity, and collaboration over hierarchy. Their culture promotes openness, playfulness, and occasionally rule-breaking, creating an environment where team members exceed expectations. Evolving from a small boutique to a central hub within a global network, they maintain independence, working with clients and partners as needed. Grateful for the support from their community, education, and industry, Velvet continues striving to produce outstanding, effective work while appreciating the ongoing journey and history yet to be written.
