OUR STORY
Vagus is a distinguished, award-winning boutique public relations firm with offices in Chicago and Northeast Florida. Established in Chicago in 2004, and expanding to Florida in 2021, Vagus serves a diverse national clientele, including leaders in hospitality, wellness, technology, and real estate across multiple states. The agency's name, inspired by the vagus nerve connecting heart and mind, reflects its commitment to impactful communication that bridges emotion and strategy. Founded by Beth Strautz, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience and a background at prestigious organizations like Hyatt and Marriott, Vagus combines storytelling with strategic insight to deliver measurable results. Under Beth's leadership from Ponte Vedra, the company continues to foster meaningful connections and elevate brands nationally.
