Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources

Background: The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is a governmental body tasked with managing the industrial sector within a nation. It aimed to enhance the user experience (UX) of its website and mobile applications while also creating new web and mobile solutions. Objectives: The primary goals of the project included enhancing the UX of current web and mobile applications, developing new applications, and ensuring accessibility for all users. Process: The project was structured into three phases. The first phase involved a UX audit to pinpoint improvement areas in existing applications. In the second phase, UX designers collaborated with Ministry stakeholders to create wireframes for the new applications. The third phase saw developers constructing the new web and mobile applications based on the wireframes produced in the previous phase. Results: This initiative allowed the Ministry to enhance its current web and mobile applications, making them more user-friendly, and to develop new applications that anyone can access. Consequently, users have experienced an improved interaction with the Ministry’s website and mobile apps. Conclusion: This case study illustrates how effective UX design can significantly enhance the user experience of websites and mobile applications. By auditing existing platforms, designing wireframes for new ones, and collaborating with developers to implement them, it is feasible to create a superior user experience that is inclusive for all users.

Enhancing the one-stop shop User experience

Al Nahdi Medical Company

The online store for Nahdi pharmacies has experienced notable growth in recent years. Nevertheless, there are aspects of user experience and usability that could be enhanced. To evaluate the current state of the online store, various user research methods were employed, including interviews, surveys, and focus groups. The insights gained from these activities were utilized to assess the existing user experience and pinpoint areas that require improvement. Usability testing was also carried out to uncover any usability challenges. The online store was compared with competitors to determine best practices and areas for enhancement. Using these insights, a new model for the online store was created, incorporating leading practices in user experience and usability. A strategy for implementing the updated model was devised, and the online store was subsequently launched. Its performance is currently being tracked, with modifications made as necessary.

PIF's latest initiative was to establish an exceptional Digital Wealth Management Platform. UXBERT Labs contributed its expertise by assessing the competitive landscape of similar platforms and concentrating on key aspects of the value proposition. Launching a successful business venture that is thoroughly informed by market insights requires significant time and effort. To effectively enter the Saudi investor market, we carried out essential market research, developed a mobile experience tailored to our target audience, and conducted tests with real investors to validate the informative website and mobile application. This strategy examines how our market research, mobile interface design, and testing have contributed to forming and executing a successful initiative. By analyzing the preferences of Saudi and GCC investors, our research involved hybrid usability testing interviews with key stakeholders and extensive literature reviews to guide our choices. We created a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that effectively addresses their needs. This process has allowed us to pinpoint critical areas, such as the demand for an effective online platform for stakeholders. Our research and analysis have led to an MVP that offers a strong foundation for the requirements of Saudi and GCC investors. The MVP is designed to provide users with robust features and an engaging interface, empowering them to gain a clearer understanding of both traditional and innovative investment options.
