Website Redesign
The Challenge Our consultants partnered with Rapp, a creative digital marketing agency, to enhance the Kyowa Kirin International (KKI) Hub. This Hub provides resources and information on treatments and medications for healthcare professionals, including general practitioners and doctors. The project began in late 2020 and progressed through several phases, addressing issues like complicated paywalls, poor navigation, limited accessibility, and restricted content types. The Solution To resolve the Hub’s restrictive content display issues, our consultants conducted a comprehensive UX audit during an in-depth discovery phase. We then created wireframes for essential enhancement features, such as less intrusive, self-certified paywalls designed to encourage user sign-ups. Additionally, we improved navigation through filtering and categorization, organized informative videos into chapters for better consumption, and performed a complete accessibility audit to identify areas for enhancement. Self-certified Pop-up Our consultants recognized the need for content mapping within the Hub. By categorizing content from level A (open content) to level C (accessible only to registered users), we could implement self-certified and registration pop-ups to guide users when they attempt to access various content levels. Accessibility Review A thorough accessibility audit of both the front-end and back-end was conducted to ensure the Hub meets The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines AA standard. Our team identified both major and minor shortcomings and recommended updates to improve the UI contrast ratio.
