BetMGM Sports Conversion Testing

Unknown

The Issue With the recent legalization of sports betting in the US, BetMGM needed to make their conversion funnel user-friendly to capture a competitive market share. We collaborated with the product team to design a usability test that examined all elements of the conversion funnel to identify any potential obstacles. The Approach We performed 9 remote usability tests with participants from Colorado, analyzing their experience from finding the right app to signing up and placing their first bet. To enhance our findings, we also tested two competitor apps for comparative analysis. This allowed us to compare and understand competitors' strategies. The Outcomes Through this research, we identified key confusing areas, enabling the client to implement small design adjustments that made the process from app search to bet placement as smooth and straightforward as possible.

Ladbrokes Tablet Website

Unknown

**The Challenge**: Ladbrokes recognized the need for a tablet sportsbook app ahead of the Christmas rush but required assistance in defining its scope, functionality, and feasibility to meet the tight deadline. An important business objective was to enhance the existing mobile experience for tablets while preserving the successful look and feel of their mobile platform. **The Solution**: We collaborated closely with the Ladbrokes Innovation Lab team and maintained extensive communication with Playtech’s development team in Malmo, Sweden. As a result, we launched the industry's first web-optimized tablet app, compatible with iPad, Android, and Microsoft devices. We also tasked Mobenga with ensuring that all features, including popular enhancements like My Accas, in-play betting, and live event streaming, were consistent across platforms. Given that live streaming is particularly well-suited for tablet use, we anticipated it would be particularly successful. **The Results**: The business was extremely pleased with the results, and the tablet app is on track to meet its KPIs for the upcoming financial year.
