Dissatisfied with existing virtual receptionist options that were often expensive, complex, or impersonal, founders Gene and Felix, with their experience building SimpleTexting, aimed to design a solution tailored for small businesses. Their goal was to develop an affordable, natural-sounding, and easy-to-use virtual receptionist that required no technical skills and, most importantly, helped business owners reclaim valuable time. This vision led to Upfirst, an AI receptionist that can be set up within minutes and is now accessible to businesses seeking a practical communication assistant.
