OUR STORY

Our Journey We are Ungrammary, a UX/UI studio established a decade ago by two graduates from IIT. Our team of 20 award-winning professionals combines product design, research, and AI to create digital products for both enterprise and consumer markets in sectors such as fintech, SaaS, health, and sustainability. We have successfully developed over 100 products for clients including Adobe, Adani, Kotak, Brooks, and Fossil, impacting more than a billion users through our research-driven, scalable design solutions.

For many years, Adobe has played a significant role in the digital creative sector. Ungrammary is assisting Adobe in enhancing its digital product design by performing comprehensive user research and usability testing on products included in the Creative Cloud.

UX Design for largest Private Bank in India

Ungrammary has been the UX/UI design partner for Kotak Mahindra Bank for the past year. During this time, we have developed more than 15 products, including the bank's consumer-facing app, which serves 5 million active users. As of November 2021, Kotak Mahindra Bank ranks as India's third-largest private sector bank in terms of assets and market capitalization. Being one of the country's largest financial institutions, Kotak serves a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals in tier I cities to those in tier III, as well as users from teenagers to senior citizens, offering a wide array of products for everyone. Our priority was to create designs that cater to the extensive and varied user base of Kotak.

Spotlight is a big data platform utilized by financial institutions, banks, and brands to thoroughly analyze extensive datasets. This intelligence on transactional behavior has revolutionized the typical experience of retail banking, creating a personalized approach across over six countries. Our task was to design a conversational interface that effectively guides users without a data science background from broad datasets to more detailed micro-level data. To improve the user experience, we integrated data visualization with storytelling elements and engaging micro-interactions.
