OneShield Software is a software provider headquartered in the US, with additional offices in India, Canada, and Australia. They offer a total of 46 products and are currently expanding into the European market. Their flexible SaaS platform is designed for various markets and is particularly utilized by the Financial Services Industry (FSI) to address issues related to policy management, billing, and business analytics. Their client roster includes prominent companies such as Advantage Insurance, Allied World, Montpelier, Omaha National, and The Hanover Insurance Group. To meet their business objectives, OneShield identified several requirements. Umbrella listened to these challenges and needs. The migration process involved transferring data from nearly 120 servers and over 30 applications using Oracle Database. OneShield demanded that the mass migration be completed within 30 days, with work limited to evenings and one weekend. Umbrella successfully facilitated this mass migration in the specified timeframe, also implementing disaster recovery (DR) and high availability within the following 30 days. Umbrella’s solution enabled OneShield to significantly enhance customer experience while remaining cost-effective.

Junglee Games is a highly successful gaming company experiencing rapid growth in its player base every month, making it the quickest expanding skill games business in Southeast Asia. The company generates millions of records each minute across various games, resulting in vast amounts of complex data. They analyze this data to gain insights into metrics such as average revenue per player, along with enhancing personalization and customization. To considerably reduce the time needed to publish data, Umbrella implemented tools like Logstash to continuously read data from the server and stream it to Kafka, which temporarily stores the data before transferring it to the AWS S3 data lake using Spark consumer on EMR. Umbrella's Big Data solutions have empowered the client's team to quickly retrieve and visualize real-time data, enabling them to make informed business decisions that enhance player engagement and increase marketing return on investment (ROI). Additionally, these solutions improve infrastructure efficiency by reducing the data and processing load on the production environment.
