Maya - An enterprise app for banks to leverage insights from credit card transactions

Twist Open UX Design has developed Maya, an AI-powered analytics tool intended for credit card portfolio managers in banks. This tool analyzes customer spending behavior and provides tailored merchant offer recommendations in real-time. The design process began with comprehensive research and the creation of three interconnected AI consoles. The first, called the Portfolio Taste Map, helps bankers discover customer preferences and monitor spending patterns. Our expertise in data visualization brought this AI platform to life, transforming it into a dynamic representation of global tastes. The second console is focused on curating, managing, and tracking offers to generate new revenue opportunities for merchants. By utilizing dynamic data visuals, we created user-friendly interfaces that assist bankers in evaluating merchants and identifying gaps in their portfolios. The third console acts as a marketplace for delivering targeted campaigns through various channels, customized to fit each customer's preferences. The user-friendly design enables bankers to prioritize campaigns based on themes and assess their potential impact to optimize spending within their portfolios.

Fertility tracker mobile application designed to help a couple plan and conceive a baby.

Twist Open UX Design intervention has developed the Fertility Tracker, a mobile app that monitors a woman's ovulation cycle to aid in conception. Collaborating with IZiel Healthcare, Twist Open UX conducted UX research and strategy, as well as product design for the Fertility Tracker. Our investigations revealed that current fertility trackers lacked an emotional connection, coming across as mechanical and purely data-oriented. We decided on a design approach centered around user empathy, resulting in an app that is unobtrusive and encourages regular user engagement through friendly and informative interactions. To involve partners in the conception process, we included an option for them to download the app and track the ovulation cycle as well. Additionally, we implemented a chat feature to inspire men to take the initiative for timely intercourse, rather than leaving all the planning to the woman. Our research included detailed discussions with gynecologists and prospective parents, along with market research on existing products. We followed a four-step design process: understanding the user (the woman), building her profile, helping her feel comfortable with her sexuality, and addressing the ovulation cycle.

Scoryboard - A web product that reports real time cricket match scores.

Twist Open UX Design developed a web product called Scoryboard for Pitch Invasion, a digital sports marketing company, intended to offer cricket fans real-time match updates via an interactive score reporting dashboard. To identify the crucial elements that make live match reporting exciting, we conducted multiple research interviews with sports fans, discovering that a strong sense of engagement was a top priority. In response, we created a single-screen dashboard featuring 12 animated tiles that showed live scores, batting orders, and tweets. This vibrant interface allowed tiles to flip throughout the match, offering a comprehensive sports reporting experience. Scoryboard transformed the cricket experience for fans by encouraging them to share photos of their cricket moments, with selected images showcased as the website’s background alongside credit to the contributors. Our goal was to remind users that they were part of a broader community of cricket enthusiasts, rather than just passive consumers. Scoryboard aimed to deliver clear information while igniting a passion for the sport. Through our research at Twist Open UX, we enabled a successful business intervention, leading to the product's popularity and the expansion of this concept to Football and Formula 1.
