Turrito Networks has formed a strategic alliance with Saicom Voice Services, a prominent provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) services designed to streamline telephony for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Brian Timperley, managing director of Turrito Networks, stated, "Over the years, we've engaged with various VOIP providers who claim to deliver ‘scalable’ and ‘robust’ solutions for SMEs. However, with Saicom, we’ve found the perfect partner that offers us a combined Cloud PBX and VOIP solution tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients across various industries." Traditionally, companies needed to utilize the specific PBX and VOIP services offered by their main network providers. While this approach can seem logical for integrated solutions, not all providers deliver equally effective offerings. Timperley emphasized, "Our main advantage is our agnostic approach to connectivity, allowing us to collaborate with our clients in selecting the best network and solution for their unique requirements. This partnership with Saicom allows us to enhance any connectivity solution we implement with a highly effective Cloud PBX and VOIP option." Greg de Chasteauneuf, chief technology officer at Saicom, noted that this collaboration aligns perfectly with their strategy of providing reseller-friendly solutions. "Turrito Networks can thus offer a cohesive package, relieving customers of any backend concerns. Turrito wins Antalis WAN outsourcing contract

Turrito Networks has secured a contract to upgrade the IT infrastructure for Antalis South Africa, aimed at modernizing its network. Antalis is a major distributor of printing and digital papers in South Africa, along with various printing and finishing equipment, consumables like inks and plates, visual communication media, industrial packaging supplies, and logistics solutions. "We faced ongoing bandwidth issues that hindered our ability to enhance services such as video conferencing. Our outdated infrastructure also meant users weren't having the best experience," stated Alwyn Miller, the executive IT manager at Antalis. After consulting with several prominent ICT solutions providers, Antalis chose Turrito Networks not only for meeting its essential requirements but also for offering personalized services. “We didn’t want to be just another small client; Turrito makes us feel valued and handles negotiations with telecom and Internet providers on our behalf," said Miller. Turrito Networks will manage Antalis's WAN infrastructure across all its locations, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, and Botswana. "This is a significant achievement for us, and we’re thrilled about the opportunities this partnership brings. We've noticed that clients like Antalis face similar issues with tier one providers—namely, a lack of client-facing support, insufficient understanding of their specific needs, and often a one-size-fits-all approach," remarked Louis Jardim, commercial director at Turrito Networks. Jardim emphasized that one of Turrito's advantages is the ability to offer clients the benefits of a major provider without the associated challenges.

Turrito extends SME portfolio with Redstor

Turrito Networks is expanding its cloud services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by partnering with global enterprise cloud backup provider Redstor. This collaboration arises as SMEs face increasing threats from ransomware and need dependable backup solutions. Turrito Networks provides Redstor's cloud backup on a flexible, pay-as-you-go basis, allowing SMEs to only pay for what they use each month, without needing an existing backup system. "Many local SMEs appear to be adopting a 'wait and see' attitude toward ransomware, which significantly jeopardizes their businesses. They are just as, if not more, susceptible to attacks as the larger corporations that have made headlines," said Louis Jardim, co-founder and commercial director of Turrito Networks.
