Visa - website development
**About the Client**
Visa Inc. is a multinational financial services company based in Foster City, California, USA. It specializes in facilitating electronic money transfers globally, primarily through Visa-branded credit and debit cards. Though Visa does not directly issue cards, grant credit, or determine consumer rates and fees, it supplies financial institutions with Visa-branded payment solutions, which they use to provide various financial programs such as credit, debit, prepaid, and cash access to their clients.
**The Situation**
Under a strict timeline, Visa approached us to develop a micro-website for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The website's main purpose was to deliver information about the tournament, including details on teams, matches, schedules, results, and historical data for each nation.
**Our Solution**
Truelogic collaborated closely with Visa to complete the website development for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup within a very limited timeframe. We partnered with Visa’s creative agency to establish the optimal user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), ensuring simplicity in development due to a challenging 4-week deadline. Our Microsoft Team engineered the project, building a backend tool for managing the site's dynamic content while also developing the front end using HTML, jQuery, and other technologies. Additionally, we incorporated a web service from a third-party provider to offer real-time results and statistics related to the tournament.
