The Challenge: LTK, formerly known as RewardStyle, is a trailblazer in the creator economy and the largest global platform for influencer marketing that connects lifestyle brands with effective influencers worldwide. The brand has been recognized twice by Fast Company as one of the "Most Innovative Companies" due to its groundbreaking business model and clear vision. Although LTK is well-known within the US influencer market, its presence in China has been stagnant since it entered the market in 2015. The company required a partner to craft a brand narrative and increase awareness through industry media to attract new brand clients and influencers in China. Our Approach: We devised a focused public relations strategy that extended beyond fashion to engage key industry media. We created a distinctive local narrative for LTK, positioning it as a significant player in the larger cross-border ecosystem rather than just another influencer marketing platform. By integrating this narrative into our media outreach and content creation, we successfully communicated LTK’s unique stories, raising awareness through targeted media outlets. Our team also produced monthly thought-leadership content, utilizing global resources such as videos, interviews, and case studies for pitching and distribution on online news platforms. Recognizing the importance of relevance for effective media outreach in China, we continuously identified important trends and topics to create timely opportunities for sharing LTK’s stories and insights.
