Updating Core Messaging to Increase Brand Awareness and Market Penetration
**Challenges** The SaaS company had devoted considerable time and effort to product development. Despite having the necessary technology, potential clients were not familiar with the brand. The primary product lacked clear communication, value propositions, or marketing materials. Furthermore, the company’s limited marketing resources meant they relied exclusively on referrals for new business, without any lead generation marketing tactics in place.
**Solutions** The TribalVision team focused on refining messaging and positioning to lay a solid foundation for the brand's marketing and sales initiatives. As part of this process, TribalVision developed a new terminology for the product that effectively conveyed its role in prospective customers’ marketing stacks. This new terminology enabled the brand to deliver a message that resonated with influencers and decision-makers, distinguishing the platform in the competitive landscape. With this terminology in place, TribalVision crafted a cohesive and persuasive brand narrative that highlighted key differentiators and allowed the internal team to communicate the platform’s core offerings quickly and clearly. To achieve this, we implemented the following steps: Identified ways to utilize the new product terminology and core messaging; Created updated branded content featuring the new messaging and product terminology; Redesigned the company website to reflect the new core messaging and showcase valuable content.
**Results** We established new core messaging, value propositions, and product terminology. The website was updated with consistent messaging, an improved user experience, and a more attractive design. As a result, we observed significant year-over-year increases in web performance and engagement: An increase of approximately 7,000 website sessions (60% new visitors and 40% returning visitors), a 16.91% rise in page views per session to 2 pages, a 29.35% increase in average session duration to 1 minute and 40 seconds, and a 15.71% reduction in bounce rate to 58.57%.
