The Kaleidoscope website project was a truly enjoyable experience for us, brought in through a referral. These projects are always the most gratifying since they allow us to dive right in, without the need to overcome obstacles or establish trust that often comes with new clients. This setup facilitates smooth communication and simplifies the initial phases. They approached us with an outdated website that no longer aligned with their brand and poorly conveyed their services. They were seeking a fresh and exciting site that highlighted their impressive work in Denver and the surrounding areas. We reconstructed their website from scratch using WordPress with Elementor Pro. We retained only a few images, the logo, and some snippets of content from the old site. We held discussions with Stephen, the owner, and Hannah, the project manager, to genuinely grasp their vision for what the website should embody in 2023. We shared our expertise where needed, especially when technical guidance was required, but mostly we wanted to empower them to express their desires and bring them to life. After numerous discussions, some insights on WordPress, and a basic understanding of SEO, we started building their new site. We asked them to supply the necessary expert content for all pages, as professional content creation was beyond their budget. They expressed a preference for a darker aesthetic and aimed to showcase their extensive work history. Additionally, they wanted to emphasize their operations across Colorado and neighboring states. Joybrain approached Thrive Engine to develop a brand new, custom WordPress website as they had outgrown their previous one. They wanted a website that more accurately reflected their practice and the growth they had achieved over the years. We initiated the project with a fully custom-designed homepage using Figma. We refreshed their brand's color palette and messaging, and assisted them in finding an excellent photographer to update their visuals. Additionally, we informed them about the benefits of robust hosting and high-quality technology such as WordPress with Elementor Pro. Ultimately, we made sure the new site was entirely mobile-friendly and responsive. Completed in early 2023, the new website offered a more professional, calming, and welcoming environment for both existing and prospective clients.

This project became essential because the company’s main website was running on an outdated theme that had not been supported since 2016. Additionally, the site had accumulated a considerable amount of unnecessary and outdated content. During our initial discussions, it became clear that we needed to complete the project quickly and efficiently. Our first step involved reviewing over 1,800 pages and posts with the client’s assistance to reduce the total to under 500. Our primary objective was to migrate their entire website from an obsolete theme and builder to WordPress with Elementor Pro as their new platform. We successfully delivered the project on time and within budget, despite encountering challenges throughout the process. We take pride in achieving both goals and minimizing any unexpected budget or timeline issues. Today, their website operates smoothly, and we have trained their team to easily make simple updates and modifications while continuing to offer support as needed.
