Padua

Padua is transforming the financial advisory industry through software that offers data-driven, tech-enabled guidance for financial advisors. Following Australia's Royal Commission, advisors have faced challenges in providing profitable advice due to rising compliance demands. As a result, they often compromise on quality, leaving clients without means to assess the value of the advice they receive. Our strategy determined that Padua needed a brand and value proposition that would appeal to both their B2B and B2C clients, along with the regulating authority that establishes standards. The brand aims to shift the market's perspective on the purpose of advice and the processes behind its formulation, signaling a major change for this conventional sector. We created a platform centered on 'value-creating advice,' which promises to enhance profitability for advisors, generate more wealth for Australians, and establish new success metrics for regulators. We devised a market entry strategy targeting all three groups, which proved effective. At the Financial Advisory Conference in May 2022, advisors noted that the brand distinguished itself from the typical corporate landscape and resulted in a 30% increase in online searches within the first month after its launch. We designed a logo that reflects the essence of quality advice: conversation. When advisors grasp their clients' objectives, they can provide improved guidance. Building on our speech bubble concept, we developed an integrated brand system for the suite of software products and service offerings. We also crafted a launch campaign and all related materials. Our efforts have helped our client reshape the financial advisory landscape for the better. We are particularly excited about how this will lower financial advisory costs, making high-quality advice accessible to more Australians—benefiting everyone involved.

WYWM is addressing the worldwide shortage of digital skills while making a significant social impact. Their focus is on developing human capital by discovering and nurturing talent from underrepresented segments of society. Historically, the human resources field has viewed the workforce merely as a form of 'capital'—a cost that generates income. However, with global talent shortages, companies must reevaluate their talent management strategies. Organizations that invest in and cultivate their employees, considering them as 'assets,' will have the advantage in attracting talent. The WYWM brand establishes a new concept of ‘human asset creation’ and highlights the advantages it offers to both candidates and companies, such as fostering social good, promoting workforce diversity, and retraining employees to retain them—all while addressing the digital skills gap. This approach represents a significant shift for the industry and a solution to the global digital skills crisis. The strategy clearly delineates benefits based on the target audience and simplifies the complex narrative. Through an experience design exercise, key moments were identified that could exceed expectations. This process revealed operational inefficiencies, leading to greater consistency, streamlined efforts, and enhanced impact. The brand design reflects the essence of the business, the attitudes of potential candidates, and the aspirations of corporations eager to transform their most valuable asset: their human talent. It embodies a human touch, is expressive, tells the brand’s story, and inspires confidence to embrace new approaches.
