About the Team
OUR STORY
TerraEdge revolutionizes technical hiring by focusing on real-world production behavior rather than resumes or scripted interviews. Founded by Yaseen Sibagathullah, an experienced DevOps and reliability specialist, the company partners with engineering leaders to create vetting processes that emulate actual outages, trade-offs, and decision pressures seen in production environments. Observing a gap where traditional interviews emphasized tool knowledge over critical thinking under pressure, TerraEdge seeks to evaluate DevOps and Cloud engineers through authentic incident scenarios. Their approach prioritizes judgment and clear thinking amid ambiguity and constraints, aligning evaluations with real operational challenges. By simulating production failures instead of relying on quizzes, TerraEdge aims to reduce costly hiring errors and foster resilient engineering teams capable of thriving under real-world pressures.
