I am the founder and president of Sports Venting Inc, an app designed for sports fans to express their feelings about the teams they support and those they don't. **OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE** What challenge were you addressing with Tekton Labs? I turned to Tekton Labs for assistance with Android app development. **SOLUTION** What was the scope of their involvement? Tekton Labs created an interactive Android app for me. It functions as a microblog, allowing users to post content limited to a specific character count, similar to Twitter. Users can share articles, videos, and other sports-related media. The app's backend is hosted on AWS, and it was developed using Java. What is the team composition? Maggie, our Head of UX/UI, served as the project manager, and we also communicated with Kenneth, the Founder. I'm certain there was a larger team behind it as well. How did you come to work with Tekton Labs? A tech-savvy partner suggested I explore development services in South America. After reviewing and interviewing ten different vendors, we selected Tekton Labs based on their portfolio, pricing, and references. How much have you invested with them? Our investment totaled $53,000. What is the status of this engagement? The app development commenced in July 2016 and concluded in February 2017. We are looking to collaborate with them again for our iOS app, marking an ongoing partnership. **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** What evidence can you provide to demonstrate the impact of the engagement? While we lacked the marketing resources to launch the app effectively, they delivered a functional and user-friendly product. We believe that once the iOS app is developed and we have a brand ambassador, it will attract significant user interest. How did Tekton Labs perform in terms of project management? They excelled in meeting deadlines. Whenever we needed adjustments, they were implemented swiftly. Their response to bug fixes was prompt, and their communication was excellent. What impressed you the most about them? Their design capabilities are exceptional. I was highly impressed with the overall aesthetic of the app they developed. Are there any areas for improvement? It’s hard to say—I would have to be very specific. I honestly can’t think of anything that needs improvement.
