Oracle WebCenter Interaction to Oracle WebCenter
Business Challenge: Chick-fil-A, a fast food restaurant chain based in Atlanta, Georgia, operates 2,000 locations and generates $6 billion in revenue. The company needed to implement a self-service portal to equip restaurant operators with more efficient business tools, as their existing system was outdated and lacked integration with other essential enterprise systems. Since different operators and roles within the restaurants required access to varying information, Chick-fil-A sought a solution that could offer personalized and secure data based on user login. Moreover, with an increasing number of store operators and corporate users needing mobile access while in the field, the solution needed to be mobile-friendly.
Our Approach: TekStream managed the entire process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support to revamp Chick-fil-A’s portal. This new portal caters to both corporate staff and store operators, offering access to a range of system integrations such as the Store Point of Sales, Oracle E-Business Suite applications, focused web-based communications, and an extensive library of documents and multimedia content. The enhanced solution provides users with tailored information relevant to their roles, significantly improving the effectiveness and relevance of the information provided. Additionally, the user interface was designed for easy access from mobile devices, facilitating operators as they move between stores and their homes.
