The Problem: Proactive Wellbeing on a Large Scale. Ash and Dean, the founders of Mynd, recognized a significant deficiency in the existing system. Over 95% of employees eligible for traditional Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) do not utilize them. Mynd was created to address this issue: a personalized, mobile-first wellbeing platform designed for everyday situations, not just emergencies. Techne's Contribution: Strategic Engineering Partner. Techne collaborated with Ash and Dean to develop Mynd from scratch. This includes a cross-platform mobile app for both iOS and Android, a personalization engine that adjusts to each user’s mood and interaction habits, and a privacy-focused B2B analytics dashboard for HR teams, all adhering to Australian privacy regulations. The platform avoids generic content libraries and one-size-fits-all solutions. The Outcome: Utilizing our Zero-Debt Engineering strategy, Techne facilitated Mynd's scalability from consumer launch to enterprise implementation.
