Nonprofit Autism Foundation Rebrand
Lowcountry Autism Foundation
**The Challenge** The Lowcountry Autism Foundation faced limitations due to its outdated branding and minimal marketing strategy. Established 20 years ago, the original logo had not evolved, and there had never been a formal marketing plan before collaborating with TargetMarket. The organization relied on grassroots fundraising, which restricted its outreach efforts.
**The Solution** The initial LAF logo was not only outdated and difficult to read, but it also lacked versatility in various formats. Our creative team transformed and modernized LAF’s branding, enhancing its coherence to better reflect the significance and value of the organization’s mission.
**The Result** After redesigning the logo, we utilized the new brand guide to support various initiatives for the Lowcountry Autism Foundation, including annual events and fundraising campaigns. This updated branding was applied to signage, merchandise, and laid the groundwork for a new website. By addressing LAF’s challenges and rejuvenating the overall organization, we enabled the foundation to broaden its reach and surpass its fundraising objectives.
**Our Approach** **Branding and Design** The rebranding process began by dissecting the original LAF logo. Our creative team retained the primary colors and the puzzle piece motif, a symbol commonly associated with autism, but enhanced these elements with a refreshed color palette and a more defined logo mark for a modernized and cohesive look. The primary logo format is versatile enough for various applications, including social media profile images and merchandise items like patches and stickers. Additionally, we developed secondary logo variations and color options to maximize compatibility. Beyond the LAF logo, our team also created branding for the foundation’s annual events and fundraising initiatives.
