Founded in Kyiv in early 2020, Tarasenko is a boutique branding agency dedicated to transforming bold founders' big ideas into beloved brands admired by customers and envied by competitors worldwide. With a focused team of 12 members across two locations, they have successfully delivered over 50 projects spanning nine industries, including beauty, logistics, energy, and startups. Despite challenges posed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, their resilient Ukrainian team continues to ensure top-quality delivery while supporting their country by donating 5% of each project's proceeds to prominent Ukrainian funds. Brand identity of the Ukrainian hand-made product

Oak & Log

Challenge Oak & Log is a brand that specializes in creating and selling handcrafted wooden items for homes and offices. It was essential to establish a brand name, identity, and packaging that were environmentally friendly, easy to understand, authentic in design, and memorable. **Naming Solution**: When brainstorming the brand name, we aimed to incorporate "oak" (since some products are crafted from oak) while ensuring it was short, easy to say, and memorable. Thus, we settled on Oak & Log. **Design**: To develop the brand identity, we drew inspiration from the structure of tree rings, creating stylized representations that became elements of the Oak & Log logo, as well as a key feature in the brand's advertising and packaging. **Outcome**: - **Simplicity**: Our design approach focused on minimalism to emphasize only what’s important. - **Authenticity**: Given the natural wood material we work with, we reflected this in the name and opted for smooth forms and natural materials in the packaging design. - **Memorability**: The brand’s corporate pattern across all marketing materials enhances recognition and aligns with the natural aspects of the products. With the products available in two colors (black and light/unpainted), we needed to create tags for the packaging. We designed distinct black and white paper labels to differentiate between the different color options. **Cost-effective Packaging**: Beyond being environmentally friendly, the product packaging is also economical since corrugated cardboard is made from recycled paper, which is favorable from a cost perspective.

Design for the mineral cosmetics brand Dari

Dari

The Challenge Mineral cosmetics brand, known for its all-natural ingredients, is transforming the perception of modern cosmetics. In response, we took on the task of redesigning the brand's visual identity to resonate better with its environmentally conscious audience. The Solution involved a complete overhaul of the corporate identity and the creation of a cohesive visual system for product labels. To start, we redesigned the logo font to enhance the brand's elegance. To ease the transition from the old design to the new one, we kept and evolved a key element of the brand: the cosmetic smear symbol under the letter "i" in the logo, which represents the common practice of testing cosmetic products on the wrist. The color of this smear adapts to each product it accompanies. We chose a textured paper with a subtle stripe as the background for the labels, and each product was assigned a distinct color to highlight the lower part of the labels. This colored strip not only serves an aesthetic purpose but also acts as a separator that repeats the product name and displays essential information, such as expiration date and weight. As a result, the Dari Mineral cosmetics brand has developed a soft corporate identity that reflects the gentle nature of its natural ingredients. All product labels now have a clear identification system, making them easily recognizable both on store shelves and online.

Logobook for flower studio in Kyiv

Flower Vibes

Challenge Flower Vibes is a flower studio located in Kyiv, founded by friends of our agency. They are young, ambitious, and lively party enthusiasts who focus on creating original work. Each bouquet they craft evokes new, unique feelings. The name and concept are solid; the only missing element was the design. Our goal was to capture the energy that these creators impart through their unconventional bouquets in the branding. We aimed to express the vibrant spirit of the studio, its philosophy, and the values that each flower arrangement embodies through visual elements. We wanted the brand to be memorable and easily recognizable across different platforms, from bouquet labels to corporate presentations. Solution: Inspired by unique compositions, we designed a logo that perfectly reflects the essence of the project and becomes a key component of the brand. As the world focused on techno, we brought a logo to life that encapsulated the brand’s core message and emotional nuances. The "F" in Flower transformed into a green leaf, while the "V" in Vibes morphed into a blooming rosebud. This choice allowed us to create a distinctive brand mark that is memorable and recognizable even when used independently from the logo. Bright neon colors at the entrance signify the vibrancy of the flower arrangements. Result: In the end, we accomplished all our objectives: we developed a cohesive visual identity for the brand that effectively represents Flower Vibes across all media, giving it a distinctive character. The brand stands out from competitors and makes a lasting impression on consumers at first glance.
