SEO for dietary catering: x892% organic traffic
As with any project, we started with a competitive analysis and a detailed SEO audit covering both on-page and off-page aspects. We established goals for content marketing, technical SEO, and link building. Our primary focus was on high-value keywords, while also targeting various user intents, building topical authority, and increasing the number of useful pages. We enhanced the information architecture, content, and landing pages to improve user experience, which boosted user engagement and conversions. These adjustments led to an increase in traffic from new keywords and better evaluations of existing pages by Google's algorithms. The results included 120,000 clicks (75,000 of which were non-branded) from Google per month, a 6.82-fold increase in organic clicks in Q1 (crucial for the dietary sector), an 8.92-fold rise in organic clicks from non-branded keywords, a tripled click-through rate from Google, a 6.11-fold increase in the number of keywords in the top 10, and a 7.85-fold increase for keywords in the top 2.
In terms of content marketing, we revitalized older content and created new resources, such as expanded local page structures, educational blog posts, and functional pages like calculators. Improved user experience led to significantly better engagement metrics, with average session engagement time increasing by 2.1 times. For off-site SEO, we secured backlinks from relevant thematic and contextual sites. Furthermore, the website gained considerable authority through redirects from an old competitor's domain. Consequently, the site has been steadily improving with each Google update since August 2023, including multiple core updates, a spam update, and a helpful content update. The website is gradually increasing its visibility for both high-value keywords and informational intent phrases, leading to higher traffic and conversions.
