With more than 18 years of experience in the video production field, Farran has helped brands create narrative-focused corporate and educational documentary-style videos. After earning a BA in Broadcast Radio and Television from San Francisco State University, she recognized the potential of online video and shifted her focus from traditional broadcasting to web-based formats. Over the first decade of her career, Farran collaborated with media and technology startups, developing educational video platforms and content that supported their business models, even earning a Telly award for Best Online News Feature. In 2014, she transitioned from the corporate world to pursue her passion by expanding Tabrizi Productions into a full-service boutique production company. While she handles both video production and editing depending on project requirements, she now prefers to concentrate on directing and producing with the help of her team. Farran believes that the best producers possess a deep understanding of both technology and storytelling, which is what she contributes to her work.
