OUR STORY
Synergy's journey began in 1971 when Ray Hutch founded Western New York Timesharing Service, pioneering computer access for regional companies. By 1982, expansion into Buffalo deepened their local roots. The company evolved in 1987 into Western New York Computing Systems, emphasizing systems consulting amid advancing technology. A key merger in 2004 with Synergy broadened their offerings, leading to the Synergy Global Solutions brand. Embracing an Employee Stock Ownership Plan in 2011 enriched their culture of commitment. In 2018, Synergy launched an innovative Network Operations Center, rebranding as Synergy IT Solutions. Celebrating 50 years in 2021, they acquired Binary Sharks and The Computing Center, reinforcing regional presence.
