STRATEGY: A large-scale link-building campaign was launched, enlisting over 500 relevant backlink partners to target various internal destination pages along with high-traffic general terms like "holiday homes," "holiday villas," and "holiday rentals." RESULTS: The link-building campaign resulted in a 98.88% increase in organic traffic. The penalty was lifted within two months of our intervention. We then created a content-driven SEO campaign aimed at regaining Google’s trust and restoring lost traffic and revenue. Our approach involved revamping the underutilized company blog and producing 1-2 strong content pieces each month to attract backlinks. The content strategy featured competitions, infographics, and how-to guides, and included contributions from the Guardian. RESULTS: The penalty was lifted within two months of our involvement. Within three months, the site's organic traffic returned to pre-penalty levels. After six months, our efforts resulted in organic traffic reaching an all-time high, with the site ranking on the first page of SERPs for numerous valuable search terms.
