Theatre database and performance reviewer
**Problem:** Our client required a new system to provide theatres with a modern and efficient platform for managing show and performance data, as well as a method for audience members to rate performances. The first level is designated for "Theatre admin" users, who oversee theatre management. They are tasked with managing and updating their own theatre and performance information, including performance dates, cast details, ticket pricing, and other essential data. The second level is for "Evaluator" users, who attend performances as audience members and complete a detailed evaluation form afterward. This form enables them to assess the play and the performers. The system then compiles statistics and ratings based on these evaluations, helping theatres to gain insight into audience preferences and needs. Lastly, "Administrators" manage all subordinate users and are tasked with overseeing registrations, invitations, and the approval or rejection of reviews and profiles according to specific guidelines.
**Solution:** In developing the solution, we started with an existing design plan, which was then refined to meet the client's specific requirements. Due to time limitations, we focused on completing the development process swiftly and efficiently. To achieve this, we chose the Strapi CMS application, which allowed for the rapid implementation of the database structure and API design. Key features of the software include:
