OUR STORY
Kit Hinrichs, Principal and Creative Director of Studio Hinrichs in San Francisco, brings over four decades of design expertise shaped by his education at the Art Center College of Design and experience across major firms, including a 23-year partnership at Pentagram. Founded in 2009, Studio Hinrichs embodies Kit's passion for narrative design, where storytelling transcends content to express a client's essence across print, packaging, video, and environmental graphics. His work, recognized by major institutions like MoMA and SFMoMA, reflects a collaborative spirit uniting writers, illustrators, and technicians. Committed to elevating everyday design elements, Kit believes that design's true role is simplifying complexity and transforming the ordinary into the beautiful, an enduring challenge that continues to inspire his creative journey.
