Optio Surgical offers software designed to manage costs through a strategic sourcing solution that aims to reduce wasteful spending and enhance transparency in surgical departments. SCOPE OF WORK: With rising healthcare costs, hospital administrators are continually seeking ways to improve efficiency and lower expenses related to surgical staffing, while also simplifying their workload by consolidating bill-only submissions into a single digital platform. Streamline Healthcare and software consultants held regular meetings with our client, Optio Surgical, to explore potential process enhancements. It was concluded that automating the reconciliation process would eliminate the costly manual reconciliation, by incorporating a software solution into the current platform.

SCOPE OF WORK: The Resilient Mind was created by a group of innovative clinicians recognized as thought leaders in their field. They were motivated by research showing that, given the fast-paced and complex nature of modern life, there is a critical need for a comprehensive, scientifically-backed program capable of fostering resilience by altering neural pathways. In 2015, the project launched version 1.0, collaborating with the Streamline organization to develop the learning process and software. As of the second quarter of 2021, version 4.0 was released. OUTCOME: Clinical measures from The Resilient Mind project reveal an 18% increase in resilience among participants who finish the 20-week training program. The program starts with interested individuals completing a valid readiness-to-change assessment along with a time commitment overview. Participants must navigate an automated registration process that includes this assessment after downloading the app and reading the interactive e-book. Following this, they engage in scheduled activities that require a 2.5-hour weekly commitment over 10 weeks, along with an additional 15-minute micro-learning session three times a week. The entire approach emphasizes gamification and practice to create new neural pathways.
