Patients Remote Monitoring
The Remote Patient Monitoring Mobile Application was developed to allow patients to easily send their vital signs to their healthcare providers. Our client was a healthcare provider based in the United States. Overview: The objective of this project was to create a system for Remote Patient Monitoring that enables continuous access to an individual’s health information. Solution: As this was a full-cycle engineering project, we dedicated ample time to gather business requirements and produced a comprehensive Software Requirements Specification that illuminated the client’s existing workflows. Based on this information and the constraints of time and budget, we chose to implement React Native to support both iOS and Android platforms simultaneously, while utilizing Python (Django) for the backend. Here are some of the main challenges we encountered during the delivery process. Outcome: We successfully delivered the initial version of the application within two months, integrating it with a variety of medical devices such as a Blood Pressure Cuff, Thermometer, Body Scale, Oximeter, and Blood Glucose Meter. The application boasts a user-friendly design, with an easy enrollment process and intuitive vital measurement flows. Overall, the collaboration was highly successful, as we accomplished the project within the set budget, timeframe, and scope.
