As part of a long-term collaboration, Staylime provides customized Magento 2 theme development for Mageworx, a top vendor of Magento extensions and Shopify applications globally. Mageworx began as a Magento extension provider over ten years ago and has experienced significant growth. As the company has progressed, they have expanded their skills to include Shopify app development. Although their business strategy has transformed considerably, their traditional ecommerce website has remained focused on Magento extensions and services. Consequently, Mageworx sought Staylime's expertise to develop a new website that reflects their updated business direction and incorporates a distinct identity as well as UI/UX design aligned with their role as a Magento extension and Shopify app provider. To give Mageworx a competitive edge, we focused on a comprehensive rebranding strategy, introducing a modern identity for the company. This included designing a minimalist logo and corporate style that effectively communicate the diverse range of expertise and solutions Mageworx provides. Our team also concentrated on creating new icons for Mageworx's Magento extensions and Shopify apps. In our UI/UX design approach, we aimed to move away from the default Magento layouts and develop a unique design that aligns with current UI/UX trends and the company's business goals. The resulting design features a minimalist aesthetic, large typography, ample white space, and a bold color palette dominated by black. Besides creating a tailored Magento 2 theme, Staylime restructured the catalog, replacing the Magento 1 offerings with Shopify products for a cleaner layout. Along with redesigning the frontend, we also enhanced the backend of the legacy system. The fully redesigned Mageworx website now offers a boutique-like shopping experience for customers seeking Magento and Shopify solutions.

Staylime has created a custom Magento theme for Egaming, a UK-based online game and software retailer, enhancing the user experience for gamers globally. Empire Gaming had previously operated a Magento 1 webstore successfully, but to keep pace with the increasing user demands and competition in the UK market, they opted to redesign the site to align with the latest industry standards. They engaged Staylime to create a distinctive design theme and migrate their platform to Magento 2. However, during the presale phase, the company shifted its business strategy, setting a new objective to build a completely new Magento 2 store from the ground up, aiming for a unique UI/UX design that would establish its presence in the international market under the ‘Egaming.com’ brand. To begin, our focus was on adjusting the width of the main container, as this would set the stage for the overall layout and grid design. Notably, 95% of the target audience—gamers—were using 1920 px FullHD screens, prompting our team to abandon outdated concepts and design a full-width layout for the new site. In developing the product page, we prioritized typical gamer behavior to facilitate a smooth online purchasing experience, leading to an innovative and distinctive UI/UX design for the industry. The product page comprises three semantic blocks, offering a comprehensive view of each game, covering in-game experiences, technical details, and purchasing considerations. Although each game description is thorough and informative, it avoids overwhelming users by utilizing simple, intuitive interface elements. Consequently, we have developed a remarkable solution unlike any seen in the gaming industry before. With its innovative, carefully crafted user interface and user experience, the Egaming store has strong potential to compete with industry leaders like GOG and Steam.
