SQZD. was established during the 2009 recession in a small Covent Garden office, starting with no clients and just two employees. Our goal was to create engaging live content for PR and marketing agencies using a versatile team to maximize our clients' budgets. Within a year, we had outgrown our initial space and relocated to the center of Soho, where we continued our mission and quickly gained a reputation for delivering high-quality work and maintaining a friendly, proactive approach that attracted repeat business from our clients. By 2014, the increasing demand for motion graphics caught our attention, and we began producing 2D and 3D animations for various corporate clients who recognized the importance of such content for their communications. In 2017, after outgrowing our Soho location, we moved to a cobbled mews near Russell Square, where we occupied a spacious open-plan office that facilitated our collaborative creative processes, as well as an adjacent old stable that we converted into a soundproof video studio to broaden our service offerings.
