About the client: Voicy is a platform for audio memes that boasts over 500,000 sound clips created by a broad community of users. Challenges: Voicy encountered several issues that led to their partnership with SotaTek. Their current infrastructure on Azure was unable to accommodate their demands, necessitating a switch to AWS to enhance scalability and performance. Key obstacles included: - Platform migration: Moving from Azure to AWS. - Tight timeline: Completing the migration within one month. - Architecture overhaul: Transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-based structure for better scalability and flexibility. - Compatibility issues: Ensuring that AWS services aligned well with existing functions. - VM dependencies: Addressing inefficiencies stemming from manual virtual machine maintenance. - Cost optimization: Reducing operational expenses through AWS solutions. The architecture was redesigned from a monolithic to a scalable microservices architecture using an effective AWS tech stack, which included ECS for container management, RDS for databases, CloudWatch for monitoring, Lambda for serverless operations, and S3 for storage. The Database Migration Service (DMS) and DataSync facilitated smooth data transfer, while Redshift aided in data warehousing, and OpenSearch improved search functionality. SotaTek also refactored code for AWS compatibility, replacing Azure-specific elements and optimizing costs for operational efficiency. Results: Voicy successfully migrated all services from Azure to AWS within the established timeframe, achieving a modern and scalable infrastructure. This transition led to a 24% reduction in cloud expenses and improved scalability through containerized microservices on Amazon ECS. The multi-AZ deployment ensures high availability, and AWS-managed services simplify operations, enabling Voicy to effectively manage surges in user activity.

Fellaz Web3 IDO Platform Development

Client Overview: Fellaz, an innovator in Web3, set out to develop a multichain IDO platform designed to transform investor participation in token pre-sales.
