I develop desktop software using C/C++ and Python for business applications, AI tools, and image-processing solutions. I translate user requirements into clear specifications, select practical architectures, and produce code that is maintainable and testable. My work includes creating responsive desktop user interfaces, developing robust import/export workflows, and implementing automation features that enhance efficiency and minimize operational mistakes. In the realm of computer vision, I establish comprehensive pipelines that cover acquisition, preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, measurement, visualization, and report generation. I also integrate machine learning models by preparing data, training and validating it, packaging inference, and monitoring quality in a production environment. Additionally, I focus on optimizing performance in terms of CPU usage, memory, and threading, troubleshoot complex problems, and manage external dependencies. Prioritizing software quality, I employ unit tests, continuous integration, thorough documentation, and reproducible builds, along with creating installers for Windows and packages for Linux. I work collaboratively with users and teams, estimate project effort, manage tickets, conduct code reviews, and deliver updates in an iterative manner, ensuring clear communication. Furthermore, I write comprehensive API documentation, manage versioning, and maintain backward compatibility across different releases.
