His accolades include a 2019 European Press Prize nomination and multiple awards for directing and filmmaking. Partnering with John is Iulia Puica, a director also based in Tokyo since 2013, who brings extensive experience collaborating with global teams from Germany to Japan. Iulia’s award-winning projects have earned recognition at festivals like Izmit International Short Film Festival and RAVAC. Together, they blend creative expertise and international perspectives to craft impactful visual stories.
