Cultivating a devoted social media audience for Rock N Roll Tequila The Journey Begins When Rock N Roll Tequila sought to refresh their social media presence, they recognized the need for an agency specializing in social media content creation. After a 60-minute conversation to understand the business and its marketing objectives, we set to work on a presentation and proposal aimed at enhancing their digital footprint. We initiated our collaboration with a six-month contract. Remarkable Growth on Social Media With the introduction of vibrant, high-quality content across their platforms, they began to meet key performance indicators and experience significant growth. Since we began our partnership in 2019, Rock N Roll Tequila has gained an average of 2,000 new followers each month. As of now, their follower count stands at 68,000, and we continue to oversee their social media channels, including content development, scheduling, distribution, advertising, and customer engagement. REW.ca is the largest home search platform in Western Canada, capturing two-thirds of the search traffic for individuals looking for new homes in British Columbia. Last year, their website attracted over 50 million users. Their objective was to establish a content strategy that positioned REW as a reliable resource for home seekers regarding real estate matters. Something Great began collaborating with them to create this new content strategy, which encompassed a refreshed social media approach and messaging across various platforms, the writing and sharing of hundreds of blog posts, and the establishment of a bi-weekly newsletter. As a result, we have significantly increased engagement by over 1000% and expanded their social media following by more than 20,000. Travel Magazine has been a longstanding publication for many years. However, during the transition from dial-up internet to the introduction of the first iPhone, it lost its presence in the physical market. Realizing the importance of moving to digital content, management made the decision in 2019 that it was time to act. They decided to give Travel Magazine another chance. In our initial meeting in October 2019, the magazine was interviewing various agencies to find the right partner to facilitate its shift to an online format. We presented examples of our work and discussed a digital strategy aimed at increasing readership and revenue for Travel Magazine. The process of developing a new content strategy for such a renowned publication was challenging. We examined previous campaigns and their effectiveness, surveyed the current audience, and crafted a plan to attract new readers and advertisers. As the acting Editor, we were responsible for writing, editing, and reaching out to travel writers globally for contributions. We established a content calendar based on comprehensive SEO research, determined a publishing schedule for both our in-house and contributing teams, devised a paid promotion strategy for social media, and set reporting metrics to keep us aligned with our objectives. Following our successful demonstration of growth potential, in November 2023, Travel Magazine entrusted Something Great with a complete rebranding. We created a new website, logo, and brand package, emphasizing that TravelMagazine.com is here to inspire bold adventures. As of now, we have published over 1,000 articles for Travel Magazine, and our SEO strategy has significantly benefited the brand. Monthly website traffic has surged from about 5,000 to over 300,000 visitors, with advertising partnerships secured well in advance. We have transformed Travel Magazine from a modest digital publication into a thriving, profitable business through a meticulously structured and effectively implemented content strategy.
